(CBS) Priscilla Presley, who is no stranger to public criticism herself, says she is in complete support of her daughter, Lisa Marie, in her fight against "vicious personal attacks." She also says she is prepared to be a grandmother for the third time.

The 62-year-old "Dancing with the Stars" contestant told "Access Hollywood's" Billy Bush, "I think it's cruel what's happening today with people and with celebrities. You want to be a perfectionist and do the best you possibly can and you have parasites out there trying to bring you down and take you down. It's a very touchy time for people to be in the limelight."

Last week's attacks on Lisa Marie about her weight gain came from a London tabloid, Daily Mail. The coverage, which she referred to as "slanderous and degrading," prompted her to announce her pregnancy in her own defense.

Lisa Marie has filed a libel lawsuit against the publication.

Priscilla commented on the new addition to the family saying, "We are all excited about a little one ... all of our kids are grown up, so this is really exciting news for all of us."

This will be the first child for Lisa Marie and husband of two years, producer Michael Lockwood. She has two children, daughter Riley, 18, and son Benjamin, 15, with ex-husband, Danny Keough.

The only child of the late Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie has her own music career including two certified gold albums, "To Whom it May Concern" and "Now What."
