Host Jeff Probst talks with Harry Smith about the new season. | Share/Embed (CBS) Former "Survivor" castaways will battle it out against former super fans of the show on "Survivor: Micronesia - Fans Vs. Favorites" premiering Feb. 7 on CBS. On Friday the network announced the 20 castaways who will be marooned on the Rock Islands of Palau on the show's 16th installment. "Survivor" host Jeff Probst visited The Early Show on Feb. 7, 2008 to discuss the Micronesia edition. To see the video, click here. The favorites have the advantage of having played the game before, but they may be vulnerable because the fans know their strategies from having watched the show. The favorites, on the other hand, know very little about the fans.
